I’m back. Well, kind of…
I landed back in Brooklyn yesterday. However, my suitcases are still in a heap waiting to get unpacked, the fridge is barren, and boy, do I need to do some laundry.
While I tend to my mess, and bake you up something wonderful (I hope!); here’s a few images from my time in Chicago.
Ah, fall – you’re pretty.
My first Chicago dog experience: it was epic! Fries swimming in neon cheese sauce = heaven.
Gorgeous buildings and sculptures are everywhere downtown, but I was a bit too busy shopping to take more pictures: guilty.
I love you, Chicago! I really, really do.
But I’m a Brooklyn girl, and it feels good to be home.
See ya’ll soon with cupcakes and a Taste of Michigan recap!
Oh yeah, those fries in cheese… yes please! (hey, that rhymes!) :D. I’m a bit obsessive when I return home from travelling though. My bags are unpacked 30 minutes within being in the door, and there’s a wash on shortly after. I just can’t relax with bags slung everywhere 🙁
Me too Charles!
Coincidentally, I’m going to be in Chicago in less than a month! I may have to hit you up for ideas of where to go if I have extra time. And honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever had a Chicago dog – will definitely have to change that! =)
So so so jelly you got to go to Chicago! I want to go so very bad and eat a hotdog or twelve. Those fries need to happen to my face.
So pretty! I love Chicago in the fall 🙂
I love Chicago. I think it’s the friendliest big city in the country.
Will they Fedex the cheese fries? Yum.
I’ve always meant to get my hiney to Hot Dougs heard that it’s amazing!!
You’ve gotta get there – it’s hot dog heaven!
Glad to hear you had a great time in Chicago. I haven’t had the chance to visit Chicago yet, but I hope one day. I heard about great food scene there too. Thanks for sharing the photos!
Sounds like a gorgeous place to visit 😀
Cheers
