The Aperol Spritz

Let’s start this Summer off with light and refreshing cocktails!

I discovered the aperol spritz while we were in Rome (everyone drinks them there!), and since we’ve been back, I’ve made them at least 4 times – and I see no end in sight! We just love this drink! It is, to me, the Summer cocktail. It’s a little bit sweet, a little bit bitter, and has a killer fizz going on. It’s also light enough to drink before, with, and after meals. What more could we ask for in a cocktail?

The fact that it only calls for 3 ingredients and 3 minutes of prep time is just the icing on the cake! Cheers to a great Summer!!! xoxo

Woohoo! I drank my bodyweight in aperol spritz last week and have already told my boyfriend that we’ll be drinking them all summer long.

My summer cocktails have gotten rather redundant already. Vodka soda lemon. Prosecco. Rose. The occasional beer, that’s it. Need these in my life, spice it up a bit!
