This is one of those cocktails I just know we’re going to be obsessed with for years to come! It’s so simple – watermelon, strawberries, lime, booze (rum; triple sec), and ice – and so totally refreshing. It’s like Summer in a glass!
I love that this recipe uses A LOT of watermelon. I love watermelon… but sometimes I feel overwhelmed by it. There’s just so much! So I’m always happy when I discover a recipe that gobbles up a good chunk at one time. This recipe does just that 😉 Oh! And you can garnish the glasses with big hunks of watermelon if you like. I find they make pretty glass accessories!
I like my daiquiris thick and almost creamy, so I add a lot of ice and – my secret ingredient – a splash of coconut cream. If you don’t want to add the cream because you’re allergic to coconut, you can still make these – just don’t add it in. Otherwise I suggest giving the cream trick a try! It’s really tasty and super subtle… it basically just adds to that “oooooh I feel like I’m on an island right now” vibe.
Happy Saturday, lovlies 😉 xoxo

I love cocktails that feature watermelon. I had a watermelon margarita a few years ago. HEAVEN! Clearly, I need to try this daiquiri now!
