I can be more than a little persuasive if a proper reason calls upon my fickle little heart.
It’s a gift…
For me, at least. But seriously, if my stubborn mind sets hold on something, I can sell a silly little idea like a brick of gold.
After one sip of this weird, quirky, insanely rad mango, chili, avocado concoction that was my lunch, I knew I needed to jump in and convince you try this…Ā now.
Although, this really shouldn’t take too much sweet talking.
You’re a smart person, so let’s take a look at the facts:
You know it’s sweltering outside… doesn’t an ice cold beverage that’s actually good for you and tastes like heaven sound tantalizingly tempting?
You know you need your fruit and veggies to keep that face plump and pretty and fresh!
You know you’re craving a little spice in your smoothie love life (hello, sultry chili!).
And finally, you know pink wine and strawberries can’t be dinner every single night… Or can it? Let’s leave that last part open for debate.
Since it’s summer, and this is a smoothie post, you should know two things about this recipe:
1.) This spicy, sweet smoothie is a cinch to throw together! Once you’ve got everything in the blender, we’re talking a mere matter of seconds.
2.) After sipping this down, you’ll be feeling major in the refreshment department. Major refreshment is what life is about.
Are you sold?
Just say yes! Cause cake is on it’s way very very soon.

Okay I’ll just say YES!! Looks fantastic. I wish I can have this for breakfast tomorrow. I’ve been trying to lose weight and eating yogurt for breakfast…not too fulfilling but oh well. This would make me happy and fulfilled!

Wow, I’ve been looking for new smoothy recipes and this one is quite different. What kind of chili powder do you suggest for this, is there a name brand that I should be using? I love the idea of the avocado and mango together, yum…. with the honey. I’m looking forward to making this very soon. Thanks for giving me more ways to make smoothies – I’m bookmarking this site to visit again.

omg – this sounds amazing. a couple of years ago we went on a sort of party holiday to Thailand (need to go back) and we would have these mango and coconut milkshake things as ‘recovery’ fuel every morning (or uh, late afternoon…..). They were SO good and avocado and chili makes it sound even better. Totally need. Happy belated bday love!!! xoxo

I’ve been meaning to try avocado in a smoothie for ages (well, in a sweet dish, like a chocolate mousse etc) – thanks for reminding me to get my butt in gear and give it a try. This looks like a wonderful smoothie; I bet it has such a creaminess from the avocado!
