This refreshingly delicious Glowing Skin Smoothie will leave you feeling beautiful inside and out!
Best Smoothie Recipe for Glowing Skin
Good morning! I hope you’re thirsty…
Because we’re making smoothies! And not just any smoothie. Today I’m sharing my until now “top-secret” Glowing Skin Smoothie with you. I’ve been testing and tweaking this recipe for the past few years, and it’s finally ready to be released into the world.
So grab your straws, and let’s get going glowing!
This beautiful swirled smoothie features two vibrant layers that are packed with simple skin nourishing ingredients like strawberries, spinach, kale, lime juice, pineapple, mango, and Silk unsweetened coconut milk. It’s healthy, sweet, and so darn pretty! Sip it regularly, and it’ll also make you glow like a goddess. Who says you can’t have it all?!
Tips and Tricks for Recipe Success:
- I prefer using frozen fruit for my smoothies because it makes them cold and creamy, but fresh will work. I just don’t recommend using all fresh. Otherwise you’ll end up having to add a ton of ice. A good rule of thumb is to use at least 50% frozen fruit.
- You’ll notice I don’t call for any added sweeteners in this recipe. That’s because this recipe is already so high in natural sugar. However, if you find it’s not sweet enough for you upon tasting, feel free to blend in a tablespoon of honey, agave, or sugar.
- To really pump up the skin glowing benefits, I LOVE adding a teaspoon of spirulina powder. Although you can make this smoothie without it, I actually use this in all of my smoothies for glowing skin and hair. So I suggest giving it a try. In my opinion, it really works. I also really love adding a teaspoon of turmeric, but again, if you’re totally against this, you can leave it out.
- This smoothie is best served at once! So be sure to blend and enjoy as swiftly as possible.
- Finally, I want to say I’m not a doctor or nutritionist, so everything I’ve stated in this post is simply my personal advice.
So, are you ready to glow?! Enjoy this one 🙂
