There’s only one way to properly look at a gorgeous, decadent, expensive pound of dark chocolate quickly melting into nothing but a big mess all over your counter – as a sign!
Life sends us signs all the time, and it’s important to listen up!
Signs can mean all kinds of crazy things.
Maybe it’s a sign to get more creative with what you already have…
Or a sign to take it easy for a few minutes and let your only worry be stirring an utterly gorgeous pan of melted indulgence…
Or a sign that a little chocolate love will make everything in your day a teeny bit better…
Whatever it is, you should listen to signs. Especially when they involve a pound of melted chocolate.
This sign turned out seriously dreamy!
It was an epic experience in semi-candy making, and I was only active for about 7 minutes. 7 minutes! It’s the little things that get me stoked these days.
Curry, cumin, and cinnamon get melted into our chocolate before we top it with toasted coconut and chopped pistachios – so pretty, so simple!
A little tip… if you plan on sharing this, I’d double the batch. Between my boyfriend and my roommates, mine lasted a little over  an hour!
Dark Chocolate Coconut, Curry, Pistachio Bark – Baker by Nature
1 pound dark chocolate (the better quality, the better taste), chopped into small chunks
2 1/2 teaspoons curry powder (use less at first if you’re not sure how much you like curry)
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
pinch of cinnamon
1 cup toasted coconut flakes (preheat oven to 375, place coconut flakes in a shallow baking pan and place in oven for 5-8 minutes stirring frequently)
1 cup chopped pistachios
Instructions:
Line a 9×12 baking pan with parchment paper.
In a double broiler melt chocolate over low heat until completely smooth. Stir in curry, cumin, and cinnamon.
Pour melted chocolate into prepared pan, smoothing the chocolate out only 3/4 of the way to keep thickness. Sprinkle with toasted coconut and pistachios and set aside for at least 2 hours. I placed my batch in the refrigerator for an hour and it was set!
OMG!!! Curry and chocolate??? That’s genius! I love chilli and sea salt in chocolate but never thought of this… Fantastic!
Curry and chocolate are flavor lovers!
Pretty, pretty, sophisticated!!!!! I want to eat it in bed with an espresso in a glamorous little black dress!
Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous–these look incredible! Love the spices you used. xx

Woah. Want this like right now.
This looks absolutely amazing! Thanks for the recipe!
Totally double or triple batch. I can probably finish the entire thing myself in one hour…scary but this looks so good. I love you put coconut in there. My favorite nut is almond – maybe I’ll try with that. Can’t wait…. Will buy good chocolate for this. 🙂
Atta girl – chocolate definitely makes everything better! I love your flavor choices:)
