Nothing says Summer to me quite like an ice cold Arnold Palmer!
Are you familiar with this gloriously refreshing drink? It’s also been called a half & half, or an ice tea/lemonade, but we’ve always known it as the Arnold Palmer, so I’m sticking with it! The logistics of the drink consist of combining lemonade and ice tea, and it’s so darn simple to drink (and make) that I easily find myself consuming whole pitchers on my own in no time.
In this dolled up version I used spicy chai tea, and infused the lemonade with fresh ginger and maple syrup. It’s a true gem! And a necessity for those sweet, sticky days ahead.
If you’re a lover of light, refreshing beverages, your lips should get on this asap!
P.S. Can you believe tomorrow is the 4th!? Where is this year of ours going?
Have a safe, amazing day, loves! xo
Chai Tea & Fresh Ginger Arnold Palmer – Baker by Nature

4 cups of boiling water
1 cup maple syrup
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup fresh ginger, peeled and sliced into chunks
1 cup fresh lemon juice
3 1/2 cups cold water
Lots of ice cubes
Instructions:
Place the tea bags in a large pitcher and pour the boiling water over them. Steep for 6 Â minutes. Remove tea bags and let mixture cool while you make your lemonade.
Lemonade:
In a small saucepan combine water, maple syrup, and ginger, and bring to a boil. Simmer for about 2 minutes, then remove from heat. Cover the pan and let mixture steep for 30 minutes. Remove ginger chunks, then stir mixture into the chai tea. Add cold water and lemon juice, stir well. Pour into glasses with ice, and drink at once.
