I can’t believe it’s been almost two weeks since my fabulous day in Grand Rapids attending the “Taste of Michigan” food bloggers event. It was not only my first visit to the wonderful state of Michigan, but also my very first food blogging event.
As usual, I was a ball of nerves and excitement driving to the event that morning!
Luckily, Taste of Michigan was everything I hoped it would be. I mean, what girl wouldn’t love a day full of food, wine, and new friends?!
Here’s a summary in pictures (and a few words) of what our day involved:
Coffee Coffee Coffee – This place was awesome.
Grand Rapids had so many cute little shops!
After shopping, Claire, Jessie, and I somehow found a little extra time to explore this Chapel turned brewery before heading to lunch – Hi, Ladies!
Lunch @ Bistro Bella Vita – Italian food is my weakness.
Apparently so is champagne and snacks at 3 pm… Thank you, Reserve!
We had a fabulous dinner as well, but my camera got heavy, and I wanted to finish the night off with some relaxing.
I’ll definitely be back to Michigan again one day. And the wonderful women I met on this trip were worth the travel there alone. The food, wine, and fabulous swag bag made it all the sweeter.
Disclaimer:
A giant thanks to Claire and Liz, who put so much love and work into making the event happen. And also a GIANT thank you to The Grand Rapids Wine, Beer, & Food Festival who sponsored me to attend this event: Thank you, Thank you, Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Although I was sponsored, all opinions are my own.
