Happy Tuesday, my friends! Today we’re talking movies, snacks, and so much more.Are you a movie buff? We are big ones and try to see a new movie at home and out at the theater once a week. When we’re watching movies at home I like to make them extra fun by preparing a few tasty to treats to nosh on during the film. A few of my girlfriends came over last weekend to watch Pitch Perfect (the first one!) and I whipped us up a whole smorgasbord of sweets.

Here are my top 5 movie snacks to make at home:

1) Homemade TWIX Bars! They’re everything you love about the classic candy plus SO much more.

2) Chocolate Covered Peanut Butter hearts! Just like Reese’s… but homemade and extra fabulous. Plus the heart shape is adorable.

3) Black and White Funfetti Donuts! These just scream FUN.

4) Sweet and Salty Chocolate Peanut Butter Granola Bars! Healthy and delicious.

5) Healthy Cinnamon Sugar Mini Muffins – perfectly popable!

Now that we have snacks covered, let’s talk films! As I mentioned earlier, I made all of the fabulous treats listed above for a girls night in. My friend Leslie was the only one of our bunch who hadn’t seen Pitch Perfect, and since we’re all having a girls night OUT to see the second one, I thought it important we bring her up to speed! It was a fabulous girls night full of laughs, singing, and of course, FOOD. Safe to say, we’re very excited for our upcoming Pitch Perfect 2 Movie night!
